PICMoonlight Bridge at Golden Lion PIC

icon Known as "Tapei" or "Futingchinpo" in the past, it is now called“Golden Lion”because the contour of the lake resembles a crouching lion. Around the lake are Lion Mountain Park, Butterfly Ecological Museum, Taote Temple, and Futingchin's Paoan Temple famous for its engraving. The newly built "light bridge" sparkles at night and lights up the temple. With a fascinating landscape, it has become a resort to local inhabitants as well as outside tourists.

icon Rebuilt from an old fish market, it is located right opposite to the Shiao Pier Park in Hamasen Port. Just walk along the first canal, where leisure yachts are docked at the pier, and you will arrive at the restaurant, a place shaded with coconut trees and immersed in tropical charm. When night falls, it becomes an ideal place to admire the harbor view.

icon Built in 1967, Gaozi Tower was originally a lighthouse, but was later deserted. In May 2002, it became a blue cultural space, attracting people with its leisurely and artistic atmosphere. In the tower, the records displayed give you a glimpse into a different world. Come and have a cup of coffee and gaze at the "Pearl of the Ocean. You can rent a bike to enjoy the 1950s scene of the red tile house at the "Red Head Harbor. Gaozi Tower offers the visitor plenty to do.

icon Situated in the southwest section of the city, Kaohsiung Harbor is favored by a large area (26.66 square kilometers), vast hinterland, and moderate climate. It is Taiwan's largest international port and the world's sixth-largest container harbor. The harbor has 18 kilometers of navigation channels and can accommodate ships of more than 100,000 tons.

icon Love Pier (former Terminal 12), situated at the junction of the river and harbor, makes use of the integrated design of flowers and large sailboats to match with Hebin park. Scenic and recreational elevated trails, as well as landscaping have given birth to an international tourist service center with special seaside characteristics.

icon Another water park in addition to Love Pier, Glory Pier, called Pier-13 before, used to be a military pier for transporting support materials and soldiers to Kinmen and Matsu. In order to memorialize its glorious history, Kaohsiung City Government granted it the name of “Glory Pier” on October 2nd, 2006 when it stopped being used for military service.

icon Located at the end of Da-Yong Road in Yancheng District of Kaohsiung City and next to the sightseeing pier, the main architecture of the Pier-2 Art Center was originally a Taiwan Sugar warehouse. The original characteristics and style of its appearance have been preserved and art and cultural performances are held occasionally in the building.
